Foaled in 2014 he was the winner of 34 races, was placed 13 times and earned over $1.4m in stakes, a three-time Dominion winner and now retired, a Champion and the first trotter to win the ‘Horse of the Year‘ title two years in a row. He set nine New Zealand records.
A very talented trotter, always fast, excitable as a youngster, and getting a few things wrong, as teenagers often do.
Then in 2019 at Alexandra Park he came from last in the Anzac Cup, roaring down the Alexandra Park back straight and leaving the rest of the field in his wake. ‘He had turned the corner in what was a very special win and one of his best performances’ according to driver John Dunn. He won the Rowe Cup later that year.
In 2022 he had nine wins from 14 starts, including four Group 1s and won ‘Trotter of the Year’.
Probably his greatest achievement was his third consecutive win in the Group 1 Renwick Farms Dominion in 2022. It was a race he should never have won but in a classic duel with Muscle Mountain he did so by a head.
